In Goa continental food is really good, you can almost get the authentic taste there, maybe it is because of the foreign population which resides there. We have seen many non-Indian people staying goa for more than 1 month. What the hack I would have stayed in Goa more than 1 month if it were not for the speed of the internet there. Internet speed very bad near the beaches in Goa and our business is online.
Anyway here is the list of some of the awesome food places I have tried in Goa:
Buddha Tree, Anjuna Beach
This is a small hut type Buddha-themed restaurant, where I used to take all my brunches during my stay at Anjuna beach, Goa. The price at this restaurant is good as per the Goa standard and they delivered good quality of food for us. I loved their chocolate banana pancakes, they are simply delicious! and I would recommend everyone to try it once. Pizza is also great there with lots and lots of toppings. Their Ambiance is great and the background music was perfect for the theme.
Thalassa restaurant, Vagator
This is a very upscale restaurant which specializes in Greek and Mediterranean food. It is situated on a hill and directly faces the sea. The price at this place is very high but I can say this much that it’s worth it. The wonderful ambiance of the restaurant makes you forget that you are in India and takes you on a journey at the top of some greek castle. The sea wind takes it to another level with white drapes. This place is very crowded and you have to book your table in advance. The best time slot is the sunset slot, try to get the seats nearest to the sea. The food is amazing! from the presentation to the taste, everything is just perfect. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful.
Ryan Shack, Candolim Beach
The best thing I liked about this place is that they have chairs outside on the beach and you can eat your food by having your legs in the sand. This place provides great strawberry juice and banana shake. They also have amazing fruits salad with ice cream and Amit likes their chicken chowmein a lot.
Earthen Oven, Candolim
After eating lots of continental food I was craving for some north Indian food. The earthen oven is a great place to try the authentic Rajasthani food. They provide the whole experience with live Rajasthani music and dance performances. We tried their Dinner buffet and they have lots of varieties. Staff was very attentive. This place is near the road so it is easy to reach there via cab.
Britto’s Bar & Resturant, Baga
This restaurant is in front of the Baga beach and they have huge varieties of food. I ate food more than once here. I loved their pizza and they provide the best strawberry juices in Goa. The prices are a little bit higher here and normally this place is packed full so you may have to wait for some time to get a table.
